Set up Hey Siri or Hey Google phrases so you can log a check-in, open today's moment, or share an update without ever picking up the phone. Each shortcut is a one-time setup that takes about 30 seconds.

Add a Hearthly shortcut to Siri

  1. 1Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. 2Tap the + in the top right, then 'Add Action'.
  3. 3Search for 'Open URL' and select it.
  4. 4Paste one of the URLs below into the action.
  5. 5Tap the title at the top, rename it (e.g. 'Log a check-in'), and choose 'Add to Siri'. Record your phrase - that's the trigger.
  6. 6Done. Try saying 'Hey Siri, log a check-in'.

A note on privacy

Voice shortcuts only open Hearthly - they don't send anything to Apple or Google beyond the URL you paste in. You stay signed in on your device, so the right page opens immediately.
